Bench - Grocery Manager Level V

Supervise and ensure guest service, merchandising programs, and departmental operation are maintained in the grocery department. Achieve budgeted sales, wage percent, and profits while maintaining desired inventory levels to maximize sales and minimize excess. Operate the department according to guidelines, ensuring product quality, sanitation, and safety standards are met. Provide guidance, orientation, and training to staff to achieve satisfactory performance standards. Perform product stocking, guest service, and inventory preparation as necessary. Control grocery shrink through stock loss programs and ensure proper pricing, item scanning, and advertised item availability. Maintain department staffing and scheduling standards while working with the Store Manager and Receiver to maintain vendor product conditions. Fill a Department Manager role within 30 miles of home after training, or remain in a bench role until a position opens.
