Job Summary

Execute general ledger processes including account balancing, ledger reconciliation, reporting, and discrepancy resolution. Coordinate and implement accounting work projects, perform SOP audits, and ensure compliance with federal and state laws regarding fraud and collection. Balance credit card ledgers, verify contracts, and make collections calls if necessary. Complete period-end functions, monitor taxes, and submit timely reports while maintaining accurate profit and loss documentation. Travel approximately 75% to 80% of the time.

Required Qualifications

  • 4-year bachelor's degree in Finance and Accounting or related major
  • 2-year degree from an accredited university in Finance and Accounting or related major
  • 1 year experience in finance and accounting or related professional area
  • Ability to travel approximately 75% - 80% of the time
  • Knowledge of local Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (local GAAP)
  • Knowledge of Marriott International Policies (MIP)
  • Knowledge of International Standard Operating Procedures (ISOPs)
