Job Summary
Cut belts manually with a knife and straight edge, then finish them using machinery to prepare and splice ends from bulk roll stock. Ship finished belts to customers via UPS or freight carriers. After training, travel to customer sites to install belts on conveyors, setting up equipment in plants while adhering to Forbo Siegling and customer safety guidelines. Perform back-up assistance for field service when needed, including occasional overnight travel for installations. Work 40 hours weekly with availability for overtime and weekends as necessary.
Required Qualifications
- Capable of working at heights
- Have a valid driver's license
- Be able to pass a drug test
- Must be able to lift 100 lbs
- Possible travel for installations after learning the business
- Available for overtime, weekends as necessary
