Job Summary
Fabricate, install, and repair conveyor belts and components; install and vulcanize lightweight belting; read and follow work orders; operate tools to cut, measure, and assemble belts to exact specifications; maintain inventory and organize materials in the shop; pick up and deliver materials and completed orders; identify and report equipment or material issues; maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment; follow safety standards and wear PPE. Occasional travel and overtime may be required in a fast-paced, team-oriented shop and field setting.
Required Qualifications
- Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience
- Ability to accurately measure and verify materials
- Basic math and computer skills
- High attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
