Job Summary
Greet and escort guests to rooms, open doors, and assist guests/visitors entering and leaving the property. Inform guests of property amenities, services, hours, and local areas of interest. Identify and explain room features (e.g., key use, mini-bar, ice and vending areas, in-room safe). Transport luggage to/from rooms and assist with luggage storage and retrieval. Arrange transportation (taxi, shuttle, limousine) and record advance requests. Provide directions and communicate parking procedures. Maintain professional appearance, comply with policies, report incidents, and uphold safety. Ability to stand for long periods, move objects up to 50 pounds without assistance and over 75 pounds with assistance, and navigate stairs as needed. Prioritize guest service, hospitality, and teamwork in a hotel environment at Marriott International. Preferred: High school diploma or GED; no related work experience required.
