Job Summary
Greet and escort guests to rooms, open doors, and assist visitors entering or leaving the property. Inform guests of amenities, services, hours, and local areas of interest while identifying room features and explaining their use. Transport luggage to and from rooms or the designated bell area, assist with storage and retrieval, and help guests load or unload vehicles. Supply directions, arrange transportation, and communicate parking procedures. Follow company policies, report accidents or unsafe conditions, and maintain awareness of undesirable persons on premises. Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional while maintaining confidentiality. Welcome and acknowledge all guests, anticipate service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and answer telephones using appropriate etiquette. Speak with others using clear, professional language and develop positive working relationships. Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards. Read and visually verify information in various formats. Move at a speed required to respond to work situations, including running, walking, or jogging. Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance and over 75 pounds with assistance. Move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces and up and down stairs or service ramps. Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
