Job Summary
Explain hotel facilities, local attractions, and services to guests while promptly transporting luggage to and from rooms. Respond to guest complaints, inform supervisors of major issues, and safely handle luggage storage requests. Regularly inspect entrance areas for litter, accept dry cleaning, deliver laundry, mail, and messages, and fulfill special requests. Promote teamwork through daily coordination with other departments. Requires ability to lift up to 100 pounds, bend, stoop, and kneel. May work nights, weekends, and holidays. Fluent English required; hotel experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Must speak fluent English
- Must be able to carry, push, or lift items weighing up to 100 pounds
- Must be able to move about public areas
- Must be able to handle objects such as luggage
- Must be able to bend, stoop, and kneel
- Must be available to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays
