Job Summary
Load and unload luggage carts, organize tour group deliveries, and escort guests to rooms while explaining features and operating electronic devices. Inspect guest rooms for order and supplies, check and store luggage with tags, and deliver packages, messages, flowers, and amenities to rooms. Assist with room changes, show suites, and provide information, maps, and directions as needed. Maintain listings of local attractions, events, and transportation guides, ensure the lobby reader board is correct, and answer the console to assist front desk agents. Support the Houseperson with guest requests and perform other duties as requested by management.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license for the applicable state
- Ability to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 50 pounds of force frequently and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects
- Ability to stand during entire shift
- Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
- Ability to be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying concerns raised by employees and guests
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of information
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in a hotel or a related field
