Job Summary
Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide a welcoming first impression. Assist with luggage handling, storage, and delivery to guest rooms while escorting guests to their rooms and offering brief amenity orientations. Safely park and retrieve guest vehicles in both manual and automatic transmissions, maintaining accurate valet records and ensuring secure key handling. Provide recommendations on local attractions, dining, and transportation options, and coordinate taxis and rideshare services. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the entrance, lobby, and valet areas while supporting front office and other departments. Handle all guest belongings with care, professionalism, and attention to detail in this fast-paced, oceanfront environment.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to safely operate guest vehicles
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-contact hospitality environment
- Commitment to professionalism, reliability, and guest service excellence
- High school diploma or GED, or equivalent work experience
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to safely operate vehicles and navigate the property
Desired Qualifications
- Previous hospitality, valet, or customer service experience
- Knowledge of the Santa Monica / Los Angeles area
- Prior valet and/or bell service experience
