Job Summary
Assist guests with arrival and departure experiences at a hotel, including luggage handling, escorting to rooms, and coordination with Front Desk for arrivals, departures, and special requests. Deliver guest items and information, provide directions and local attractions, and support guest services for packages and VIP events. Maintain safety and cleanliness of the lobby/bell stand and assist with events and group arrivals. Requires high school diploma or equivalent (preferred), strong communication/interpersonal skills, professional appearance, multitasking in a fast-paced environment, and flexibility with a varied schedule. Potential valet duties may require a valid driver’s license. Location: Hyatt Place Ocean City Oceanfront, Ocean City, MD.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous hospitality, customer service, or hotel experience preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver's license may be required if valet duties are included
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Flexible availability, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
