Job Summary
Deliver American Heart Association and American Red Cross CPR/BLS training sessions to individuals and groups while demonstrating proper techniques and evaluating student performance. Prepare lesson plans, provide clear feedback, and ensure participants meet certification requirements. Manage personal CPR training equipment, including at least three manikin sets, and adhere to applicable course standards. Classes are primarily scheduled on weekends with weekday availability preferred, with pay ranging from $25.00 to $45.00 per teaching hour. The role supports ALLCPR's mission to raise community health standards across 200+ locations, training over 80,000 participants annually.
Required Qualifications
- Valid CPR Instructor Certification
- Strong knowledge of CPR and AED procedures
- Clear communication and teaching skills
- Ability to manage a classroom effectively
- Strong organizational skills
- Reliable time-management skills
- Ability to work with students of different experience levels
- Must be able to stand for extended periods
- Must be able to lift and transport training equipment up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to physically demonstrate proper CPR and AED skills during class
- Must be available for weekend classes
- Weekday availability is preferred
