Bell Representative - Part Time

Job Summary
Accurately transport guests' luggage to assigned rooms after registration, pick up luggage at departure for transport or storage, and provide fast guest service with information on amenities, events, and directions. Assist with room changes, maintain key security, and promote outstanding guest relations while exhibiting a friendly, helpful, and courteous manner. Maintain strict confidentiality and perform any duties assigned by management. This role requires good communications skills, basic math abilities, and the ability to push a 50 lb bell cart. Candidates must be at least 18, hold a high school diploma or equivalent, and complete ServSafe Alcohol training. The position involves frequent standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, and exposure to outside weather and moderate noise.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must have good communications skills
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other team members of the organization
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
- Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
- Must successfully complete ServSafe Alcohol training certification course
- Must be able to push and/or pull a bell cart weighting approximately 50 lbs
- Must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
