Job Summary
Greet incoming guests, escort them to rooms, and deliver messages or room service orders while maintaining a friendly, approachable demeanor. Receive and mark baggage by attaching claim checks, then transfer luggage, trunks, and packages to rooms, loading areas, vehicles, or banquet storage using carts. Compute and complete charge slips for services rendered, arrange shipments of baggage and express mail, and explain room features like locks and televisions to guests. Assist physically challenged travelers and other guests with special needs. Perform other duties as assigned, including running errands. Maintain punctual attendance and complete required departmental training.
Required Qualifications
- One (1) year of experience in customer service
- Must be 18 years of age
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- Must be able to successfully pass a stringent background investigation
- Will require a pre-employment and random drug screening
- Must attend and complete are required departmental training
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of Casino Hotel Resort services
- Knowledge of local area
- Visual acuity to operate motor vehicles or heavy equipment
