Job Summary
Bell/Luggage Attendant at Raffles The Red Sea responsible for warmly greeting guests, assisting with opening doors and loading/unloading luggage, managing baggage (tagging, organizing in Arrival/Departure/Long-Term sections, keeping a log), escorting guests to rooms and providing a concise orientation of room features, serving as a lobby ambassador with knowledge of hotel heritage and local attractions, coordinating with Front Desk/Concierge/Valet to ensure seamless guest transitions, delivering messages/newspapers/parcels to rooms, maintaining discretion and confidentiality, upholding LSOP and LQA standards, and demonstrating impeccable grooming. Requirements include 1–2 years in luxury 5-star hospitality, high school diploma or equivalent, strong English (Arabic desirable), ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs; pre-opening experience and scheduling/document control experience are highly valued.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- 1–2 years experience in luxury hospitality (preferred)
- Excellent English communication skills; additional languages (e.g., Arabic) desirable
- Impeccable grooming and personal presentation aligned with luxury standards
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs
- Knowledge of LSOP and LQA standards
- Experience in pre-opening is a must
- Experience in project coordination, scheduling, and document control during pre-opening stages
