Job Summary
Bell Captain at Isla Bella Beach Resort responsible for warmly welcoming guests, assisting with check-in/check-out, supervising Bell Staff to ensure efficient service, personally welcoming VIP guests and escorting them to accommodations, inspecting transportation vehicles, conducting staff training, maintaining the lobby and Bell Desk areas, coordinating luggage deliveries and other guest correspondence, and supporting Front Office operations. Requires strong English communication, outstanding customer service, leadership to train and supervise staff, organizational skills, ability to lift up to 75 pounds, and flexibility to work weekends/holidays/evenings.
Required Qualifications
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Ability to provide outstanding customer service while maintaining professionalism, patience, tact, and diplomacy
- Ability to effectively interact with guests, visitors, and team members from diverse backgrounds
- Leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and supervise team members
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to safely lift, carry, push, pull, and transport luggage, packages, and equipment weighing up to 75 pounds on a regular basis
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and move throughout the resort for extended periods
- Manual dexterity sufficient to handle luggage and operate departmental equipment
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends, holidays, and evenings as business demands require
