Job Summary
Bell Valet Captain at Chatham Bars Inn oversees arrivals, rooming, and departures for guests, guiding shifts and ensuring adherence to the property’s Service Standards. Responsibilities include training and coaching Bell and Valet staff, handling guest complaints tactfully, maintaining scheduling coverage, coordinating with other departments, ensuring guest name usage during service, and upholding high standards of personal hygiene and grooming among staff. Requires supervisory experience, strong customer service and leadership abilities, multi-tasking, attention to detail, and solid computer skills; lifting up to 50 lbs and flexible scheduling are also needed.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year supervisory experience
- Previous Front Desk or Guest Services experience preferred
- Superior customer service skills
- Demonstrated leadership skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Excellent computer skills
- Ability to work closely and cohesively with other department managers to ensure optimum guest satisfaction
- Able to stand, walk, and move quickly as needed for an entire shift
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs of luggage
- Flexible with schedules
