Behaviour Support Practitioner

Job Summary
Assess NDIS participants and families to identify needs through person-centred planning, then evaluate and deliver evidence-based support plans within complex environments. Develop meaningful goals and practical strategies using a positive behaviour support framework to eliminate restrictive practices in home and community settings. Build the capacity of family, carers, and friends while collaborating within a multidisciplinary team to mentor less experienced practitioners. Requires proven experience supporting people with complex behaviours, relevant qualifications, and a valid driver's licence. Based in Bowral with above-award pay, flexible hours, and opportunities for supervisory progression.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience supporting people with disabilities within the NDIS, including complex and challenging behaviours
- Qualifications as a Behaviour Support Practitioner
- Relevant disability sector experience
- Degree or Diploma
- Valid drivers licence
- Access to a reliable motor vehicle
