Job Summary
Assess NDIS participants and their families to identify needs through person-centred planning, then identify meaningful goals and practical strategies using The Positive Behaviour Support Capability Framework. Develop, deliver, and evaluate evidence-based support plans that reflect clients' goals, passions, and strengths while eliminating restrictive practices in the home and community. Build the knowledge, capacity, and strengths of family members, carers, and friends to enhance quality of life. Required Qualifications
- Current suitability (i.e. registration) with the NDIS Commission as a Behaviour Support Practitioner
- Experience working as a Behaviour Support Practitioner for a registered provider of positive behaviour support
- Endorsement at the Core or Proficient or Advanced level
- Ability to work positively in a diverse team
- Outstanding communication, influencing and interpersonal skills
- Confident computer skills
- Flawless writing skills
- Current Drivers Licence
- Own reliable vehicle
- Live in Adelaide
- Must be available for weekend shifts
Desired Qualifications
- Degree level qualifications of relevance to providing support to people with behaviours of concern
