Job Summary
Support pupils within the classroom and on a 1:1 basis, assisting with learning activities and engagement while encouraging positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing. Help create an inclusive and supportive learning environment tailored to meet individual needs for children and young people with additional learning needs. This full-time role in Basingstoke begins in September with a daily rate of £93, offering an opportunity to progress into a permanent position within a specialist educational setting known for strong pastoral support.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working with children or young people
- Patient, empathetic, and resilient approach
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Current Enhanced DBS Certificate registered on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
- References, employment history checks, right-to-work checks, and safeguarding vetting completed
