Job Summary
Behavioral Technician providing support to adults with behavioral health needs in a residential or community setting. In this role you’ll ensure the safety, well-being, and daily success of the individuals we serve, offering hands-on support with daily living skills, social engagement, behavior management, and more to create a safe, structured, and encouraging environment. Responsibilities include supporting residents in building life skills, routines, and social behaviors; assisting with rehabilitation and behavior support programs; monitoring and documenting changes in behavior, mood, or physical condition; providing basic care such as vital signs and personal care; administering medication once certified as a Level 1 Medication Aide (training provided); transporting clients to appointments and community activities; maintaining a clean, safe living environment; participating in emergency response and safety procedures; completing documentation accurately and on time. You’ll be a great fit if you have strong communication, enjoy teamwork, are comfortable with basic care and household tasks, and have prior CNA or CMA experience. Education/experience requirements include High School/GED, at least 1 year of work experience, a valid unrestricted driver’s license, and basic computer skills. Schedule: weekends (Saturday and Sunday 12am-8am); onsite, part-time position.
Required Qualifications
- High School/GED required
- At least 1 year of work experience
- Valid unrestricted driver's license at time of hire with ability to obtain and maintain a class E MO driver's license by end of 60-day introductory period
