Job Summary
As a Behavioral Technician, you will provide safety, 24-hour supervision, mediation, crisis management, and social, educational, and recreational support, while monitoring and documenting client behaviors and activities. Responsibilities include transporting youth in company vehicles and communicating any concerns to ensure the treatment plan meets the youth's needs. A bachelor’s degree or relevant educational units and at least one year of experience in direct care are required.
Required Qualifications
- At least 21 years of age
- Bachelor’s degree or 12 Semester Units of Early Childhood Education, Adolescent Development, or Psychology
- One year of previous experience in a group home, short-term residential therapeutic program, or substance abuse treatment program
- Ability to pass a criminal background check, drug screen, physical, and TB test
- Ability to pass a search of the child abuse central registry
