Job Summary
Behavioral Technician needed in Morris County, NJ to support children with developmental and intellectual disabilities in-home, in-community, and in-center settings. Roles include non-physical emotional/behavioral support, implementing Individual Support Plans, conducting ADLs assessments, using redirection strategies, documenting visit notes, and responding to crises with de-escalation and safety techniques. Requires NJ CSOC Behavioral Assistant Certification within 6 months (and pursuing RBT Certification within 6 months), valid NJ driver’s license, successful background checks, and eligibility to work in the U.S. Bilingual Spanish-speaking candidates are encouraged. Positions involve evening shifts (5–20 hours/week) with opportunities for professional growth and a $300 sign-on bonus in Cumberland County. Required Qualifications
- Authorized to work in the U.S. (No visa sponsorship available)
- Must complete the NJ CSOC Behavioral Assistant Certification within 6 months of hire
- Must be working towards receiving their Registered Behavioral Technician Certification within 6 months of hire
- Valid New Jersey Driver’s License
- Must pass all state and federal background checks
- A pre-employment drug screen is required
- Bilingual (Spanish-speaking) candidates encouraged to apply
