Behavioral Technician (Monmouth County, NJ) - $300 Sign-on Bonus

Behavioral Technician providing non-physical, emotional, and behavioral support to children with developmental and intellectual disabilities in-home, in-community, and in-center. Service hours typically 5–20 per week with 2–4 hour evening shifts. Responsibilities include implementing Individual Support Plans, conducting ADLs assessments, using redirection strategies, submitting visit notes, responding to crises with de-escalation, engaging clients in activities, attending case reviews and trainings, and adhering to agency protocols. Requires NJ CSOC Behavioral Assistant Certification within 6 months of hire and pursuit of RBT certification within 6 months, a valid NJ driver’s license, and clearance through background checks and a pre-employment drug screen. Bilingual (Spanish) candidates are encouraged. Roles may involve home visits and collaboration with families and interdisciplinary teams; performance is guided by evidence-based approaches for developmental disabilities and emphasizes active listening, empathy, and strong communication.
