Job Summary
Behavioral Technician position serving Mercer County, NJ, delivering non-physical, emotional and behavioral support to children with developmental and intellectual disabilities in-home, in-community, and in-center. Responsibilities include implementing strategies from each child’s Individual Support Plan, conducting functional assessments (ADLs), using redirection to manage behavioral concerns, submitting timely visit notes, responding to crises with de-escalation and safety strategies, engaging clients in growth-oriented activities, attending case reviews and trainings, and adhering to agency protocols and professional guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- NJ CSOC Behavioral Assistant Certification within 6 months of hire
- Registered Behavioral Technician Certification within 6 months of hire
- Valid New Jersey Driver’s License
- Must pass all state and federal background checks
- Pre-employment drug screen required
- Bilingual (Spanish-speaking) encouraged to apply
