Behavioral Technician (Hunterdon County, NJ) – $300 Sign-on Bonus

Job Summary
Provide non-physical, emotional and behavioral support to children and families in-home, in-community, and in-center. Follow Individual Support Plans, conduct functional assessments (ADLs), use redirection strategies for behavioral concerns, submit visit notes per guidelines, respond to crises with de-escalation and safety strategies, engage clients in interest-based activities, participate in case reviews and trainings, and adhere to agency protocols. Requires NJ CSOC Behavioral Assistant Certification within 6 months of hire and progress toward RBT certification within 6 months. Bilingual (Spanish) candidates encouraged. In-home and community-based services with a focus on client engagement and emotional well-being; local travel likely within Hunterdon County, NJ.
Required Qualifications
- Authorized to work in the U.S. (No visa sponsorship available)
- Must complete the NJ CSOC Behavioral Assistant Certification within 6 months of hire
- Must be working towards receiving their Registered Behavioral Technician Certification within 6 months of hire
- Valid New Jersey Driver’s License
- Must pass all state and federal background checks
- Pre-employment drug screen required
- Bilingual (Spanish-speaking) candidates encouraged to apply
- Pathways for Qualification Based on New Jersey Guidelines: RBT/BACB supervised experience OR relevant degree/experience OR HS diploma with 3 years supervised experience
