Job Summary
Behavioral Technician needed in Hudson County, NJ to provide non-physical, emotional, and behavioral support to children with developmental and intellectual disabilities in-home, in-community, and in-center. Roles involve implementing individual support plans, conducting functional assessments, employing de-escalation and safety strategies, preparing visit notes, and engaging clients in growth-focused activities. Schedule is part-time with 2–4 hour evening shifts (5–20 hours/week); requires NJ CSOC Behavioral Assistant Certification within 6 months and pursuit of RBT certification within 6 months, plus a valid NJ driver’s license and successful background checks. Spanish-speaking candidates encouraged. Includes a $300 sign-on bonus and growth opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Authorized to work in the U.S. (No visa sponsorship available)
- Must complete the NJ CSOC Behavioral Assistant Certification within 6 months of hire
- Must be working towards receiving their Registered Behavioral Technician Certification within 6 months of hire
- Valid New Jersey Driver’s License
- Must pass all state and federal background checks
- Pre-employment, post conditional job offer drug screen is required
