Behavioral Technician (Gloucester County, NJ) - $300 Sign-on Bonus

Job Summary
Provide non-physical, emotional and behavioral support to children with developmental and intellectual disabilities in-home, in-community, and in-center. Implement strategies outlined in each child’s Individual Support Plan; conduct functional assessments including Activities of Daily Living (ADLs); use redirection strategies to manage behavioral concerns; submit visit notes promptly; respond to crises using de-escalation and safety strategies; engage clients in interest-based activities; attend case reviews, team meetings, and required trainings; follow agency protocols and guidelines; evenings shifts with 2–4 hour blocks, 5–20 hours per week. Bilingual Spanish speakers encouraged. Requires NJ CSOC Behavioral Assistant Certification within 6 months, and pursuing RBT certification within 6 months. Authorized to work in the U.S. with no visa sponsorship; valid NJ driver's license; background checks required; pre-employment drug screen. Sign-on bonus of $300 forthcoming with eligibility criteria.
Required Qualifications

- Must complete the NJ CSOC Behavioral Assistant Certification within 6 months of hire
- Must be working towards receiving their Registered Behavioral Technician Certification within 6 months of hire
- Initiative to frequently check emails for admin communications
- Valid New Jersey Driver’s License
- Must pass all state and federal background checks
- A pre-employment, post conditional job offer drug screen is required for this role.

- Pathways for Qualification Based on New Jersey Guidelines: If a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB), you must at least have one year (1) of supervised experience in implementing behavior support plans for individuals who have intellectual/developmental disabilities; OR If you have a Bachelor’s degree in behavior analysis, psychology, special education, guidance and counseling, or social work, you must at least have one year (1) of supervised experience in implementing behavior support plans for individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities; OR If with a High School Diploma or GED, you must at least have three (3) years of supervised experience in implementing behavior support plans for individuals
