Job Summary
Oversee direct care of residents during designated hours, implement client treatment plans, monitor distress and stabilize crisis situations, supervise daily living activities (cooking, housekeeping, laundry, personal hygiene) and medication administration, observe and communicate residents’ progress to the treatment team, and use motivational interviewing. Collaborate with family members and other providers to support residents’ recovery and facilitate programming with evidence-based behavioral management techniques.
Required Qualifications
- HSD/GED
- A valid driver's license
- CPR/First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain one
- Ability to regularly use computer apps including Microsoft Office, our HRIS, EHR and other online systems, with multiple logins often simultaneously.
- Willingness to submit background check and fingerprinting
- Ability to work full-time Monday-Friday 8am-4pm
- Preferably Experience working in a residential environment
- Knowledge base of psychological disorders and related behaviors
- Experience de-escalating situations
