Behavioral Technician (Cumberland County, NJ) - $300 Sign-on Bonus

Behavioral Technician needed in Cumberland County, NJ to support children with developmental and intellectual disabilities in-home, in-community, and in-center. Typical schedule ranges from 5–20 hours per week with 2–4 hour evening shifts. Responsibilities include non-physical, emotional and behavioral support; ensuring client safety and well-being; implementing Individual Support Plans; conducting functional assessments (ADLs); using redirection strategies; preparing progress notes; responding to crises with de-escalation and safety practices; engaging clients in activities to promote growth; attending case reviews, team meetings, and required trainings; following agency protocols. Qualifications emphasize US work authorization, NJ CSOC Behavioral Assistant Certification within 6 months, pursuit of RBT certification within 6 months, valid NJ driver’s license, background checks, drug screen, and Spanish-language preference.
