Behavioral Technician (Camden County, NJ) - $300 Sign-on Bonus

Behavioral Technician who supports children with developmental and intellectual disabilities in-home, in-community, and in-center settings. Responsibilities include providing non-physical, emotional, and behavioral support; ensuring client safety and well-being; implementing strategies from each child’s Individual Support Plan; conducting ADLs and functional assessments; using redirection strategies for behavioral concerns; submitting visit notes promptly; responding to crises with de-escalation and safety techniques; engaging clients in activities to support growth; attending case reviews, team meetings, and required trainings; and following all agency protocols. Key skills include active listening, emotional intelligence, patience, adaptability, strong communication, organizational abilities, independence and collaboration, familiarity with evidence-based approaches for developmental disabilities, and proficiency in client engagement and behavioral redirection.
