Job Summary
Become a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) through BAYADA’s RBT Academy and work as a Behavior Technician Trainee in school-based settings on Oahu. You’ll receive web-based courses, hands-on training, and study guides to prepare for the RBT exam, and after certification you'll work with students with Autism and IDD to implement ABA, collect data, document progress, and support skill development. Roles are based in Kapolei, Waipahu, Pearl City, Ewa Beach, and Waianae with a typical schedule Mon-Fri 7:30am-3pm and starting pay of $25/hour. Benefits include health insurance, PTO, 401(k) match, and professional development opportunities. Qualifications include being 18+, earning an Associate’s/Bachelor’s degree or 48 college credits with Math 100 and English 100 or a HS diploma/GED with ParaPro Praxis, and completing the RBT Academy and exam.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age
- An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree OR 48 college credits including Math 100 and English 100 OR a High School Diploma/GED with Passage of the ParaPro Praxis assessment (BAYADA assistance available)
- No experience necessary
- Complete RBT Academy and pass the RBT Exam to become an RBT with BAYADA!
