Job Summary
Become an RBT through BAYADA RBT Academy and qualify as a Registered Behavior Technician. You’ll work with students in school-based settings on Oahu, implementing behavior therapy techniques and collaborating with teachers to support classroom goals. The role involves direct student work, building relationships with clients and school teams, documenting interventions and progress, collecting behavior data, providing training and assistance to help students gain and maintain skills, and supporting interpersonal development and independence in the school routine. Training includes BAYADA University courses, hands-on observation, study guides, and a pathway to certification as an RBT after completing the academy and passing the RBT exam. Schedule typically Mon-Fri 7:30am–3pm with opportunities near your home and a supportive, inclusive work culture across BAYADA Hawaii.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age
- An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree OR 48 college credits including Math 100 and English 100 OR a High School Diploma/GED with Passage of the ParaPro Praxis assessment
