Job Summary
Conduct Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) interventions with students in school-based settings on Oahu to reduce challenging behaviors and foster independence. Implement behavior therapy techniques while documenting interventions and collecting data as specified in client behavior plans. Establish relationships with clients and school teams, providing instruction to help students acquire skills and maintain personal relationships. Support school-age children in their school routines and collaborate with teachers to meet identified goals. Complete the RBT Academy training and pass the RBT Exam to become a Registered Behavior Technician.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age
- An Associate's or Bachelor's degree OR 48 college credits including Math 100 and English 100 OR a High School Diploma/GED with Passage of the ParaPro Praxis assessment (BAYADA assistance available)
