Job Summary
Conduct thorough investigations of participant behaviors to develop Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs), Behavior Support Plans (BSPs), and Crisis Intervention Plans (CIPs). Implement BSP objectives in Individual Service Plans, provide ongoing support to participants and families in home and community settings, and maintain daily health and safety. Deliver face-to-face training and consultation with family members, waiver providers, and support staff regarding BSP/CIP components. Collect and monitor data for monthly behavioral reports, attend Individual Service Plan meetings, and maintain progress notes. Report incidents to the Direct Supervisor and Incident Manager within 12 hours. Operate on a primarily day schedule with 24/7 on-call availability for crisis response, adhering to company policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of computer, tablet (iPad), and phone applications necessary.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with groups and individuals
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Bachelors or Masters Deree in Education, School, Clinical, Developmental or Counseling Psychology, Social Work, Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Professional counseling, Behavioral Analysis, Nursing or other related field.
