Job Summary

Conduct structured assessment interviews, observe individuals in home, school, or community settings, and review social history to establish behavior baselines. Write and submit summary reports of assessment findings and recommended behavior support plan components to the interdisciplinary team. Advocate for individual human and civil rights by presenting behavior support information to review committees and attend staff or interdisciplinary meetings. Document progress, maintain confidentiality, complete billing, and report medical, behavioral, or safety incidents per company policy. Administer medications, monitor health, and assist with activities of daily living including transportation and community orientation. Comply with all safety policies, participate in drills, and report hazards immediately.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a human services field
  • Minimum of 2 Years of IDD Experience
  • Training in behavior modification techniques
  • Experience providing behavior management treatment
  • Knowledge of specialized populations such as individuals with a developmental disability, brain injury, or mental health
  • Expertise in special disciplines such as behavioral support, early intervention, or crisis intervention
  • Reliable, responsible, and caring nature with ability to work well with others
  • Commitment to the company's mission and values
  • Current driver's license
  • Car registration
  • Auto insurance
  • All state-required training and certification completed in mandated timeframes
