Job Summary
Provide interventions focusing on problem solving, behavior modeling, optimism, and encouragement to clients with severe mental illness. Assist the team in ongoing assessments of client symptoms and responses to staff interventions while supporting clients in developing recovery and rehabilitation goals. Ensure services are culturally competent, strengths-based, and inclusive of client preferences. Provide assistance with transportation to work sites, daily activities, and appointments, and assist with the administration of prescribed medications as needed. Work Sunday through Saturday in residential or community-based settings. Hourly rate is $21.50.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Criminal Justice or related field
- Experience working with adults with mental illness
- Valid Massachusetts drivers license
- Must be available for Sunday 10am-6pm
- Must be available for Monday 10am-6pm
- Must be available for Friday 8am-4pm
- Must be available for Saturday 8am-4pm
