Job Summary
Provide direct and indirect patient care to patients during their stay under the direction of the registered nurse. Maintain patient well-being and comfort while working in high-stress situations as a responsible, supportive team player. Complete required certifications including Basic Life Support and the Crisis Prevention Institute training. Assist with daily care tasks and contribute to the compassionate, person-centered healing ministry across Covenant Health's hospitals, skilled nursing, and rehabilitation centers.
Required Qualifications
- Basic Life Support certification
- 1 year of experience in Behavioral Health Services
- Responsible
- supportive team player
- Ability to work well in high-stress situations
Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- State Maine CNA Certification
- College training in mental health technology, behavioral science, social work, rehabilitation therapy, or its equivalent
- Completion of a mental health training certificate program
- Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) training
