Job Summary
Provide general and psychiatric nursing care to hospitalized patients with psychiatric or emotional disorders. Assess and reassess patients, perform suicide assessments, develop and update individualized care plans, manage medications and safety, ensure accurate documentation, and collaborate with the care team to support patient well-being and discharge planning. Position requires leadership in coordinating patient care, strong communication, and adherence to nursing standards. Day shift from 7am to 7pm in Reno, NV.
Required Qualifications
- Current Nevada RN License
- ADN / BSN or equivalent
- BLS certification (renew every 2 years)
- CPI training for orientation and annual retraining
