Job Summary
Review individualized client plans and translate them into effective, client-centered behavior intervention plans for the Behavioral Respite program. Develop and oversee implementation of behavior support plans while ensuring all interventions align with Applied Behavior Analysis best practices. Provide clinical supervision to Behavioral Respite Professionals, conduct competency assessments for RBT candidates, and deliver ongoing coaching to ensure fidelity of behavior plan implementation. Facilitate RBT exam preparation study groups and deliver parent/caregiver training on behavior management strategies and data collection techniques. Establish data collection systems to monitor consumer progress, adjust plans as needed, and drive continuous program improvement through data analysis. Ensure documentation meets regulatory and ethical standards while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams and Regional Centers.
Required Qualifications
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification in good standing through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board
- Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or related field
- Minimum 5 years experience providing ABA services
- Minimum 2 years experience supervising RBTs and/or clinical staff
- Strong knowledge of behavior plan development, data analysis, and ABA methodologies
- Driving may be required throughout territories we services
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in Respite care, crisis intervention, or short-term behavioral support settings preferred
- Leadership or program development experience preferred
- Familiarity with California Regional Center systems and regulations preferred
