Job Summary
Conduct administrative intervention for students with behavioral problems to promote learning and ensure school safety. Receive students from classrooms or office to address behavioral or attendance issues, de-escalating inappropriate behavior using prescribed procedures. Supervise hallways and student movement during breaks and outside hours, while monitoring fire drills and emergency procedures. Track student progress, oversee field trips, and provide positive reinforcement to foster behavioral improvements. Communicate with professionals, parents, and staff regarding individual needs, and prepare reports and office referrals. Contact authorities when students leave location and collaborate during emergency events. Participate in summer programming as assigned by the principal.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience including experience with learning disabled or behaviorally impaired learners
- Nationally recognized personal restraint model
- CPR certification
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
