Job Summary
Provide 1:1 clinical supervision and crisis intervention in center-based day habilitation programs. Lead crisis intervention and SCIP maneuvers during behavioral emergencies; participate in functional behavioral analysis, development and implementation of individualized behavioral support programs (IBSP); coordinate and summarize behavioral data; prepare assessments for clinical reviews; assist with staff training in psychology-related topics; requires a High School Diploma or equivalent with related experience (or a degree in related field) and ability to complete SCIP and CPR training; valid NYS driver’s license preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent and five (5) years related experience or Associates Degree with three (3) years related experience or Bachelor’s Degree with two (2) years related experience or any equivalent combination of education and experience which provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
- Must be able to complete required training for SCIP (Strategic Crisis Intervention & Prevention) and CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation)
- Clean valid NYS driver’s license.
