Job Summary
Behavioral Instructors assist clients in developing vital social skills and coping strategies using the Teaching Family Model and various behavior interventions. Responsibilities include documentation, following policies, maintaining professionalism, and participating in required training and orientation. Candidates must be at least 21 years old, have completed 60 college hours, possess crisis intervention capabilities, and be physically able to manage the job's demands. Maintaining a valid driver's license and being current in CPR and First Aid are also essential.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age.
- Minimum of 60 college hours required - college graduate preferred.
- Must possess or be able to obtain a valid Arkansas Driver’s License within 30 days from the date of hire.
- Must be eligible to be insured to drive MFH vehicles.
- Must remain current in Crisis Prevention Intervention Training, CPR, and First Aid.
- Requires the strength and stamina to perform clinical duties.
- Must be physically able to lift 50 pounds and hold for one minute.
- Must have good auditory, visual, and olfactory ability.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working with “at-risk” youth or other populations with special needs preferred.
- Ability as a self-motivator and the aptitude to work in a high stress fast-paced position with minimal supervision.
