Behavioral Health Worker - Sayre, PA

The ESS Behavioral Health Worker will provide direct behavioral health support and instructional assistance in BLaST Intermediate Unit classrooms for K-6 students, under the direction of a certified teacher or social worker. Responsibilities include implementing classroom procedures, preparing materials, progress monitoring, grading, and applying behavioral modification strategies; utilizing de-escalation techniques and safety-care interventions; maintaining a safe, respectful learning environment; collaborating with faculty to implement behavioral plans; data collection and recordkeeping; and supporting ongoing credentialing and professional development. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Social Services, and a minimum of one year of experience with children who have behavioral challenges; prior Behavioral Health Worker experience is highly preferred. The position is full-time and follows school hours in Sayre, PA, with W2 employment and benefits.
