Behavioral Health Training and Development Lead

Job Summary
Lead and manage organization-wide behavioral health training programs, including preparing, facilitating, monitoring, evaluating and documenting training activities for direct support staff; assess training needs for new and existing employees; organize, develop, or source training programs; liaison with subject matter experts on instructional design; develop training aids such as manuals and handbooks; map out training plans and present programs using diverse delivery methods (classroom, virtual, on-the-job coaching); design assessment tools to measure effectiveness, track outcomes, maintain records, and manage logistics, facilities, and budgets; establish relationships with external training suppliers and coordinate off-site training; keep current on training design and methodology; require a Bachelor's degree and knowledge of adult learning theory, instructional design, training methodologies, LMS, and competency assessment; certification in ASTD is recommended; strong planning, communication, facilitation, coaching, analysis, and presentation skills; ability to work with internal stakeholders and drive ongoing professional development across the organization; temp-to-hire with potential for full-time employment after 90 days.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in a related field
- Knowledge of adult instructional and learning theory and principles
- Knowledge of instructional design
- Knowledge of training methodologies
- Knowledge of learning management systems
- Knowledge of competency assessment
- Certification such as ASTD (American Society for Training and Development) a recommendation
