Job Summary
Provides direct clinical services to patients, families, and others in Emergency Services, medical units, and ambulatory settings, including mental health and chemical dependency evaluations, crisis intervention, and supportive counseling; collaborates with physicians, nursing staff, and other providers to initiate appropriate services; maintains documentation and prepares admissions-related materials; requires a Master's degree and licensure; 20 hours per week daytime shift at Saint Mary Mercy Health System, Livonia, MI; supports patient education, insurance verification, and level-of-care recommendations using DSMV, with emphasis on confidentiality and professional ethics.
Required Qualifications
- Requires a Master’s degree in social work, psychology, psychiatric nursing, or counseling.
