Job Summary
Behavioral Health Therapist provides counseling using evidence-based techniques under the supervision of the Director of Behavioral Health Services, develops and implements client treatment plans based on mutually accepted goals, adapts therapeutic approach for diverse populations, maintains confidentiality under HIPAA and state/federal laws, documents in the EMR in a timely manner, ensures regulatory compliance, and coordinates care for mental health emergencies. Requires a Master’s or Doctoral degree in a behavioral science or related field and unrestricted licensure (LCSW, LPC, or LMFT) in Tennessee. At least 3 years of experience as a Behavioral Health Therapist.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s or Doctoral Degree in a behavioral science or related field
- Unrestricted, unencumbered licensure as LCSW or LPC or LMFT in Tennessee
- Experience assessing for mental health emergencies and coordination of care
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as Behavioral Health Therapist
