Behavioral Health Therapist

Job Summary
Conduct clinical assessments and diagnosis for adults and youth with behavioral health or substance use diagnoses. Deliver individual psychotherapy, addictions counseling, or family interventions while managing caseloads and coordinating services with team members. Develop treatment plans and ensure all documentation adheres to regulatory requirements. Requires a bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, or counseling with current enrollment in a master's program, plus preferred Illinois licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Counselor, or Marriage and Family Therapist. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology or counseling
- Currently enrolled in a Master's degree program in social work, psychology, marriage and family or counseling
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of master's degree in social work, Counseling, Psychology or Marriage and Family Therapy
- Experience in addictions treatment
- State of Illinois Licensure or eligible for licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker or a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor or License Marriage and Family Therapist
- Knowledge/experience with dual (mental health and addictions) disorders
