Job Summary

Behavioral Health Therapist LIMHP at Nebraska Methodist Health System’s Methodist Fremont Health in Fremont, NE. Responsible for providing therapy services to individuals and families independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team; conducts psychosocial assessments; facilitates family, group, and individual therapy; develops and reviews treatment plans; delivers therapy services and care coordination across the spectrum of mental health conditions; maintains documentation and adheres to regulatory standards; collaborates with a licensed physician for scope of practice/ collaborative agreement; supports program development and community outreach while aligning with organizational values. Schedule: Monday—Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with rotating holidays.

Required Qualifications

  • Master's degree with a mental health therapy focus from a regionally accredited program of higher education
  • Licensure as a Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner (LIMHP) required
  • Minimum of 2-5 years’ experience in clinical therapeutic environment or other relevant experience required
  • Licensure/credentialed options such as MSW/CSW/PLADC/LADC preferred

Desired Qualifications

  • Master's degree with a mental health therapy focus from a regionally accredited program of higher education
  • Licensure as a Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner (LIMHP) required
  • Minimum of 2-5 years’ experience in clinical therapeutic environment or other relevant experience required
  • Master Social Worker (MSW) license preferred
  • Certified Social Worker (CSW) and/or Provisional/Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (PLADC/LADC) preferred
  • Experience in psychosocial assessments, family/group/individual therapy
  • Ability to develop and review treatment plans
  • Strong documentation and billing skills
  • Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team
  • Knowledge of pediatric, adult, geriatric mental health needs
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Licensure/credentials recognition within Nebraska (preferred)
