Job Summary
Behavioral Health Therapist IV for Inova Integrated Behavioral Health within the Primary Care team. Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and mental health screenings, deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, crisis support, and psychoeducation to families, and provide ongoing therapeutic support. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, psychologists, and support staff to ensure coordinated, family-centered care; facilitate psychoeducational and group-based programming; provide care management and referral coordination; maintain Epic documentation; work in a hybrid onsite model at Gainesville, VA (2-3 days per week); uphold safety standards and professional conduct.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree (MA, MS, or equivalent) in Mental Health, Social Work, Counseling, Substance Use Disorders or Behavioral Health related field
- Five years of post-licensure experience in mental health/substance use disorder treatment, psychoeducational programming with evidence-based interventions (crisis intervention, trauma, integrative therapies)
- Licensure: LPC, LMFT, LCSW, LCP, or LSATP; CPI blue card within 6 months; CPI in-person training; BLS within 3 months of hire
