Job Summary
Behavioral Health Therapist in Sanford Health's Eating Disorders Program providing individual, group, and family-based therapy for adolescents and adults with anorexia, bulimia, and binge eating disorder. Works within inpatient and Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) settings with a typical caseload of 6–8 patients when at capacity. Responsibilities include diagnostic assessment, onsite crisis assessment and intervention, treatment planning, and implementation of evidence-based interventions across a multidisciplinary team. Functions may include conducting individual therapy sessions, facilitating group therapy, providing family-based therapy for adolescents, educating patients and families, and ensuring progress updates to the interdisciplinary team. Requires a Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related Behavioral Health Sciences, and an active license in good standing (ND LPCC or LCSW). This role may involve a variety of settings (clinic, community-based) with duties aligned to current clinical ability and patient needs, and requires staying current on emerging issues in the field.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related Behavioral Health Sciences
- License must be in good standing in state(s) of practice (ND required)
- In North Dakota, must have one of the following: Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
